Two Nigerian lesbians, Amara and Olayinka have decided to send their relationship to the next level by marrying.
Amara, who has been a Nigerian gay activist decided to have the tattoo of her partner’s name on her finger and vice versa.
Amara explained that because they couldn’t sign “Yes” to each other on paper due to the country’s anti-gay law, they decided to tattoo it on their skin instead.
They captioned a Twitter post they shared: the country said we can’t sign our yes on paper, so we tattoed it on our skin.
