A concerned citizen from the Keta Municipal Assembly named Wonder Setsoafia Deynu is alerting the Keta Municipal Assembly and the citizens of Keta to the fact that the Assembly is lacking development in the following fields:
Education
Education in Keta Municipal Assembly is weeping and bleeding profusely therefore, on its knee pleading for help anywhere.
Keta Municipal Director of Education must be held accountable for the fall of Education in the municipality even though there are other stake holders to help prevent poor grades.
Health
Health in the Municipal Hospital is doomed because there is no specialized Doctor in the hospital. In fact, the laboratory is nothing good to write home about this is causing more harm to our people than good ( The cat would be let out of the bag soon)
Market (Business)
Markets in the municipality have died off due to non-maintenance of structures in the markets. Even though the revenue department do not give taxpayers an inch in revenues collection.
Market women and men are crying for a serious help.
One million dollar toilets facilities none of the toilets have been completed in municipal as this piece is put together meanwhile, monies have been allocated for the construction.
It has been noticed that, the cash has been squandered by unscrupulous people in charge of the contract and they are moving about freely without any interrogation.
Ranking of MMDCE in Ghana and Regions the Municipal Assembly had 45.07% and 248th position in Ghana and 18th position in Volta Region which indicate the tail of the fish. It’s so abysmal in the history of the Assembly.
Where were the local governance experts in the Municipal Assembly gone to before we got the poorest, humiliating, shameful and disgraceful performance.
I call on them to bow their heads in abject shame.
The Youth of Keta must rise up and defend their future and rescue Keta from the selfish, insensitive, inept and wicked leaders in Keta.
