Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has averred that some old folks in the Ghana music industry deserve to be paid better royalties.
According to him, although his talks might be runished, some of the legends who paved the way for most of the in the music industry deserve to be paid better.
In a tweet, he mentioned Daddy, Kojo Antwi and Amakye Dede as some of the legends he feels deserve to be paid millions of cedis as royalties by the Ghana Music Right Organization(GHAMRO).
This comes shortly after Shatta Wale set a new record at GHAMRO for being the highest earner so far in the music industry. Shatta Wale recently earned an amount of GH¢30,000 after the organization did a distribution in December last year.
However, Shatta Wale slammed the organization, saying the amount they claim is the highest so far is an insult to his music career because he deserves more than that.
He also stated that some Ghanaian musicians will never back him in this fight until they have also been subjected to the same fate.

Well, in his recent rants, Shatta Wale has called for the better treatment of the legends in the music industry.
He wrote; Imagine someone like Daddy Lumba ,kojo Antwi,Amakye etc They shd be earning millions of Ghana cedi today but like I said : THE “NO ALL FAMILY” All am saying will still be foolish . Let me go and fuck my fuck wai ..No remorse 😂😂😜😜🥂
