To welcome in the new year, Nicki Minaj, her husband, and their son have all invested in a luxurious new home.
According to TMZ, the rapper known as Pinkprint established roots in Los Angeles by spending $19.5 million on a sizable 12,000-square-foot, an 8-bedroom mansion in the Hidden Hills.
A detached guesthouse, cabana, saltwater pool, and Baja shelf are included with the new house. Nicki received the new mansion as a belated birthday present because she turned 40 on December 8.
Her birthday celebrations were unfortunately somewhat marred by a group of trolls on social media, who at exactly midnight posted offensive hashtags like #Shes40 and #FatandForty.
Regardless, Nicki has had much to celebrate this year. She’s reportedly working on her forthcoming fifth album and told City Girls rapper JT that her next album will go back to her roots as a hungry, underground MC on the rise. She also noted that she is in a great place now which allows for her creativity to shine.
“I feel like whenever I’m happy, I deliver the best music,” Nicki said before hinting at which is perfect timing for her to release new material.
